Verified cost-plus pricing guarantees that every member is paying a competitive price across ALL items they purchase, not just their top 3 sellers.

We believe your bottom 20 purchases matter as much as the top 3. It’s no good saving on your top 3 sellers if you are paying above the odds on other items, and non-UNIPCO distributors will sometimes practice ‘sleight-of-hand’ pricing tactics to make up the shortfall.

At UNIPCO, we have established longstanding partnerships with distributors and manufacturers that believe being transparent is the best way to do business. We are able to leverage UNIPCO’s $120+ million in combined buying power to negotiate pricing across the board – non-negotiable.

Through proactive price monitoring, UNIPCO keeps an eye out for any bumps in price, which we will then investigate. Have an invoice that doesn’t look right? Simply send it to UNIPCO, we will look into it, and, in the event of a price disparity, we will pursue credit on your behalf.

The benefit to you? Lower invoices, less time spent checking every detail of your invoices, and peace of mind that you are getting the best deal possible. Not to mention, UNIPCO distributes quarterly rebate cheques to all our members on a specified date, giving you a second income stream without any extra work on your part.

Manufacturer rebates are based on the combined volume of all members. We issued over $5 million in rebate cheques to our members last year alone.

Our rebate cheques are distributed in addition to negotiated, lower-than-average invoice pricing. They come to you quarterly, at a specified time, as mandated in our corporate bylaws.

UNIPCO negotiates with manufacturers to secure aggressive rebates, with 100% of the proceeds being paid to members who buy or use their products. These quarterly rebates are like a second revenue stream for your business and are an added benefit to being UNIPCO member. Rebate monies come directly from the manufacturer and is in no way related to the reduced invoice pricing you will enjoy.

Because of our volume, UNIPCO is able to access these monies – usually reserved for larger operators – for our members. This is another example of how being part of UNIPCO levels the playing field for independent foodservice operators competing against larger chains.

We verify and approve pricing on a monthly basis, so you don’t have to waste time sifting through endless invoices.

Checking invoices is time consuming and it can be hard to know if you were charged the price or discount as promised. To save you time, UNIPCO verifies and approves pricing every month, and conducts random distributor and manufacturer audits.

UNIPCO’s agreement with each of its distribution partners is non-negotiable. Should a distributor bump up their pricing, UNIPCO will investigate.

As part of our price monitoring process, UNIPCO will also sporadically ask members to send us their invoices to cross-reference. If you have an invoice that doesn’t look right, you can just send it right to us and we will look into it. In the event of a price disparity, UNIPCO will pursue to get you credit back.
